MEET THE USA FIELD HOCKEY CLUBS OF Illinois

Illinois is currently home to two official USA Field Hockey Member Clubs. Member Clubs meet USA Field Hockey’s high standards for safety, providing a trusted environment where players, coaches, and families can grow & thrive. Many clubs offer trial and competitive year-round playing opportunities, as well as coach and umpire education.

Windy City Field Hockey

Windy City is the Chicago area’s oldest and largest field hockey club, founded in 1991. Windy City is based in Northbrook, IL and offers programming in north shore of Chicago for all ages and abilities. Windy City’s Director, Katie Beach, is an Olympian and former Division I Head Coach with extensive national and local relationships. Windy City is consistently ranked among the top Clubs based on performance and participation in USA Field Hockey’s outdoor and indoor national tournaments.

Rise Field Hockey

RISE Field Hockey was founded to introduce the game of field hockey to as many athletes as possible. RISE is based in Oak Park, Il and delivers programming in Chicago, the western suburbs of Chicago, and in Evanston.  For beginners through college-bound athletes, programs are designed to nurture skills, foster learning, and ignite a passion for the sport.  Rise provide opportunities for players of all ages, skills, and commitment levels. Rise promotes multi-sport participation for all athletes.
